About Me

I’m a mother, writer, and science communicator who loves learning about the natural world. I’m interested in solutions-based stories that explain climate change, spotlight conservation initiatives, and explore opportunities to build just and ecologically-centered food systems.

For over a decade, I’ve worked in the nonprofit sector providing strategic, mission-centered communications and development writing to organizations that support strong, vibrant, and equitable communities. I hold a M.A. in Science Writing from Johns Hopkins University, as well as a Masters in Public Administration and a B.A. in English from Clark University.

I currently work as public relations manager at New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill in Boylston, MA, and serve on the editorial advisory group for Public Garden, a magazine of the American Public Gardens Association.
