About Me

I’m a science communicator who loves learning about the natural world and has a passion for protecting it. I’ve spent over a decade in the nonprofit sector providing strategic, mission-centered communications and development writing to organizations that build strong, vibrant, and equitable communities. In 2022, I earned a M.A. in Science Writing from Johns Hopkins University. I also hold a Masters in Public Administration and a B.A. in English from Clark University.

I’m interested in solutions-based stories that explain climate change, spotlight the critical importance of conservation, and amplify issues of food system sustainability. I currently work as public relations manager at New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill in Boylston, MA—a source of constant inspiration.
